Islam Ramzanovich Makhachov; (September 27, 1991) is a Russian mixed martial artist and experienced sambo fighter. He currently competes in the UFC's lightweight division. Where is the current UFC Lightweight Champion? Makhachev was the 2016 74kg Combat Sambo World Champion. As of March 7, 2023, he is 3rd in the UFC's rankings of top all-weight fighters.
